Bucket of squashWine grapes are only part of Nature’s bounty here in Sonoma County. We relish in having an herb garden within steps of the cooking school and now visits to the school’s vegetable garden has become part of our curriculum.

Wine barnHidden behind Ed’s wine barn is our vegetable garden. Students get to take a break from class, tour the garden and pick vegetables for their next recipes.

Squash blossoms are always a summer favorite as are tomatoes picked at the peak of ripeness.

Production easily supplies our classes with extras going to the Healdsburg Food Pantry.

What better way to dine garden to table then with your own vegetables and Mugnaini oven!
