Our classes feature proper wood fired oven fundamentals essential to successful cooking and a complete meal cooked in the pizza oven. Class sizes are limited to provide the expert advice and personal attention you need to learn how to get the most out of your oven.
Mugnaini’s showroom and headquarters is located in Watsonville, California on the Monterey Coast. Ovens and accessories are on display and visitors are welcome Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00. We offer free consulting and plan review by appointment. The showroom features a working kitchen with 3 live ovens. Please call in advance for demonstrations or Saturday appointments.
The cooking school is located on Andrea’s 30 acre vineyard in Alexander Valley just north of Healdsburg, California in Sonoma Wine Country. A renovated farm house was converted to a dedicated cooking facility with indoor and outdoor ovens, an herb garden and a vegetable garden. The grounds and vistas offer a pure wine country experience as you engage in one of our classes on the Art of Wood Fired Cooking. Our three-day Culinary Getaways feature accommodations at Hotel Healdsburg with shuttle service to allow you to fully indulge your senses in all that wine country has to offer.
Every fall for the last 10 years, Andrea Mugnaini hosts week-long cooking classes in Tuscany, Italy. This is a hands-on cooking class unlike any other – a complete immersion into the culture and cuisine of one of Italy’s most popular regions. Guests stay at a country hotel and take educational side trips to enhance their cooking experience. Class sizes are small, the fun lasts all day and the experience lasts a lifetime.
