Shipping
Mugnaini ovens are shipped directly to customers from our headquarters in California. With many years of experience, the professionals at Mugnaini have perfected the shipping and delivery process.
Mugnaini ovens are made up of several large, heavy and fragile components. To protect them during shipping we build a special fully enclosed wooden box with a padded support floor. We then secure the pieces to stretchers within the box to ensure their integrity during transportation.
When your oven leaves the Mugnaini warehouse our customer service staff will call and provide you with the shipper’s telephone number and your shipments tracking number. With this information you can communicate directly with the shipping company and know exactly when your delivery is scheduled to arrive.
Mugnaini Masonry Kits
When you receive your oven there is no need for any special equipment for unloading or moving. During installation, when it is time to assemble the oven, the box is simply opened and the individual components are moved to the exact oven location.
Since one entire oven weighs (crated) between 700 and 1000 pounds, we ship via common carriers with a lift-gate service and obtain the best rates available.
Mugnaini Forno Al Fresco Ovens
The Al Fresco Ovens are also expertly and safely secured within wood crates for shipping via common carrier.
Given the increased size and weight of these preassembled or ready-to-assemble oven shipments you will need to have a forklift on site when it arrives to safely remove it from the delivery truck. If a forklift is not regularly on location as part of your project then you or your builder will need to rent one for the minimum time to remove your oven from the truck.
Once the oven is taken off of the truck it can be moved into place with the forklift or moved into position with a pallet jack. The Mugnaini customer service staff will communicate in advance with you before your oven ships, to be sure that you have time to prepare for receiving your shipment.
