Roasted Figs with Fromage Blanc and Grated Chocolate


Prepare oven according to Mugnaini's Pizza Oven Environment, 650-750˚F

Ingredients

  • 2 dozen ripe fresh figs
  • 1/4 cup fromage blanc
  • 1 ounce semisweet chocolate

Directions


Stem figs then score the top in and “x” 1/4 inch deep.

Set figs on a sheet pan and roast for about 3-4 minutes or until they begin to release their juices and caramelize.

Remove from oven and place on a platter. Top each fig with 1/2 teaspoon of the fromage blanc and grate chocolate over the top.
