Our hands-on classes offer a one-of-a-kind culinary experience that exudes wine country hospitality. The school offers a choice of either a wood or gas fired pizza oven.
Our patio features every size of Mugnaini pizza oven so you can work with the same size oven at your home or test different sizes, which is a good way to choose an oven. You will work with fellow enthusiasts learning to fire an oven and manage the heat for various styles of cooking.
Each class has a complete menu created to showcase the versatility of the oven. You will begin with hands-on pizza making and then learn how to transition the oven’s heat for roasting meats, fish and vegetables. We will complete the day’s cooking with a delicious seasonal dessert.
All cooked in a Mugnaini oven and all served for a delicious lunch. The techniques and skills you learn here will transform your wood fired oven experience at home!
The value of your Mugnaini oven lies in its versatility. Our objective is to teach you to use your oven to its full potential and create entertaining menus from appetizers to desserts.
Our hands-on classes will be offered on Saturdays throughout the year so check the calendar as classes fill early. And bring your appetite as you will be cooking a full meal!

Hands-On classes may be privately scheduled for groups of 10 or more.
